In this day and age, no household can afford to be without a computer. They are needed to apply for jobs, study for school, hone computer skills, and sometimes even to shop!
Well, for many of the families we serve, having a computer is a definite luxury and not having one most often becomes
a roadblock to their success. Please help us complete our mission to bridge the
technological gap for low-income families!
Operation: Comp 200
MISSION:
To get free computers into the homes of at least 200 low-income
families this year
ASSIGNMENT:
Volunteer at least 30 hours with our community partner, WITS, Inc. (a non-profit organization dedicated to building communities through reuse, recycling, and education)
IMPORTANT INTEL: Volunteers must meet income guideline requirements to receive
free computer for your household. Or
you can volunteer to help other income-eligible households registered with R.A.A.! receive their free computer! All volunteers
must register through R.A.A.! to be eligible to earn free computer by volunteering 30-hours. (Volunteers must be at least
13 years of age or older.)

WITS . So tell all your family, friends, co-workers, and anyone
else who’ll listen about this wonderful volunteer opportunity!
And guess what, if you bring 4 people with you to volunteer 6 hours or more, you will have met the 30-hour requirement
for a free computer*!
(*Computers are free to income-eligible volunteers only. One (1) free computer per qualifying household. Computers
may be available for purchase at reduced cost for non-qualifying households.)
Note: Computers are Pentium 4 and come with operating software installed and limited warranty.
