Planning & Development Clerk

City of Brentwood

The City of Brentwood is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Planning & Development Clerk.  The position reports to the Director of Planning & Development and provides administrative support to the Director and department staff. Evaluator (PT)

Location: Illinois (Alton)

Duties: Observing and evaluating with people with disabilities to assess their work strengths, weaknesses, and vocational skills at a set work site.  Assist in making vocational decisions and in helping to locate area employers. Average of 20-30 hours per week M-F.

Qualifications: BA and 1 year experience in the field of Social Services preferred.

 

Security Monitor 

Location: Aftergut Center, St. Louis

Requires: HS Degree

Duties: Monitor physical facilities to ensure safety and security. Monitor sign-in/out activities of visitors and residents to ensure accuracy of details and whereabouts. Supervise interactions of residents to ensure safety, security and personal respect. Conduct random drug testing of residents.  Accurately keep detailed logs, files, and reports.

 

Retention Specialist

Program: Supported Employment

Location:  Aftergut/Locust

Duties:  Help individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities maintain competitive employment thought guidance and support on and off the job. The position requires documentation, strong writing skills and organization. This is a Part-Time position, working 20-25 hours weekly with the possibility of more hours in the future.

Qualifications:  High School diploma required. Experience working with individuals with disabilities required. Current drivers license, insurance and independent transportation required.

 

Social Services Coordinator

Location:  St. Louis

Duties: Work with individuals in the Federal Residential program to provide support with job placement resources, employment information assistance, portfolio development, resume writing, post-release follow-up and job retention. Ongoing communication with Residential Program staff and maintenance of consumer files. 

Qualifications:  Bachelors degree in social or behavioral science program from an accredited college or university. Minimum of one year experiences must be working in the social services field in a relevant position.

 

SCSEP Case Manager

Location:  St. Louis and Lippman Center (S. Hanley Rd)

Duties: Full-time Case Manager Recruit and enroll new participants in the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP), maintain records on existing participants and future participants. Manage cases and develop job leads for individuals age 55 and older. Excellent organizational, communication, and administrative computer skills required.

Qualifications: High School Diploma required, bachelor's degree preferred.

 

MWA Administrative Assistant (Part Time)

Location: St. Charles, MO

Duties: General administrative duties, including but not limited to, filing, letter generating for re-engagement and call-in, other general clerical duties.

Qualifications: High School diploma, 2-3 years experience.

 

Youth Case Manager (Part Time)

Location Nashville, IL (Washington County)

Duties: General case management duties, including but is not limited to the following: Recruit and monitor out of school students ages 16-21; provide eligibility assessments and administer appropriate test; provide 1 on 1 study assistance, information and referral assistance; help with college enrollment and FAFSA; assist with job placement; maintain accurate documentation and case notes; provide job skills training and complete monthly follow up.

Qualification: BA/BS in Social Work or related field and experience working with youth strongly preferred.

Location: Lippman Center

Coordinator of Placement Services

Location: Lippman Center, St. Louis MO

Duties: Supervises supported employment staff; Oversees all services and outcomes; Manages income and expenses of program; interacts with consumers and referral sources; Implements CARF or other governing body standards and oversees program outcomes.

Qualifications: BS/BA in related field required, 2 years experience in human services required.

Qualifications: BA/BS degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education or other related field required with at least 2 years experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder. Master’s degree with at least 5 years experience direct service with individuals with autism spectrum disorders preferred.

Duties: Develop career opportunities for individuals with Developmental disabilities at Barnes Jewish Hospital and Washington University. Work with Supported Employment/Transition Teams and referral sources to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in obtaining employment at Barnes at Barnes Jewish Hospital and Washington University. Maintain rapport with hiring managers in various areas on each campus to successfully match referred candidates with the needs of the specific departments. Screen clients to match qualifications and provide initial interview. Provide Job Coaching and Job Retention as needed.

Guest Services Intern - Spring 2012
The St. Louis Blues/Scottrade Center seeks qualified candidates for the position of Guest Services Intern for the 2012 Spring Semester. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in event and administrative duties within the Guest Services Department. This is an unpaid internship, preferably for college credit.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the preparation and set up of training sessions, hiring sessions and Building Security meetings.
  • Assists with the Lost and Found program.
  • Assists with the building tour program.
  • Responsible for completing special projects as needed.
  • Prepares event signage, assists with event equipment set up and preparing event information.
  • Provides guests with general building information.
  • Shadows managers during events to learn first hand event knowledge.
  • Assists Administrative Assistant with the set up and monitoring of general admission area for concerts without floor seating and with pre-event activities.
  • Assists in the scheduling of staff for early calls and tours as well as the monthly schedule.
  • Assists with the creation of newsletter.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Guest Services Management.  

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled college level student.
  • A desire to gain experience in a professional sports and entertainment environment
  • Excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills
  • A strong work ethic
  • General office skills are necessary (Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, filing, copying, etc).
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays

The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in the service of Season Ticket and Premium Seating Clientele. This is an unpaid internship.
